Convection Versus Electric Radiant Heater
What’s the difference between a convection heater and electric radiant heater? Well, each type produces heat differently, which means a house will be heated differently.
Convection Heater
They use the same basic principle as our atmosphere and oceans in order to provide an indirect heat source. Warm air does have a lower density than cold, so the heat will rise and cool air remains low to the floor. A convection heater uses this process by pulling in cool air in order to heat it.
Radiant Heater
Sunlight provides a source of radiant heat by radiating the heat and energy horizontally. This kind of heater will generate heat that will warm you in a more direct method.
